MG Gundam Double X shares the internal frame and reflector unit system with MG Gundam X. The design enhances the credibility of it as a successor machine.

• The reflectors can be spread when the Twin Satellite Cannons are in use.
• The interior of the reflectors utilizes the same mirror sheet as MG Gundam X for recreating the light-focusing state.
• Radiators on the forearms and calves can be expanded. By opening the outer covers, the internal blades can be fanned out together.
• The cannons slide and open. By locking them on the frame of the shoulder cameras, their position can be reliably maintained. The angle of firing can be adjusted.
